Many people know how much I despise cats. They stink, they rummage through the trash bin, they climb into my house for no good reasons, they run off only to come home for food and they just sit there waiting to get pampered. This little guy was all cute and cuddly when he was a kitten but became a big bully later on and fought with all the other cats behind my house. I don't know if he's still alive and even though I hate cats so much I most definitely won't forget his eyes.
A sunset HDR shot at the Farmers Market. There are lotsa small stalls selling groceries and also foodstuff. Its a really nice place to take photos and then head for a good dinner. Its really clean by my standards since I'm so used to the Malaysian wet markets.
When I was taking pictures of Melissa for her quincenera at a park in Indio, this little guy came up to us and obviously I couldn't resist. Lucio had the flash off camera held up into an umbrella at that time so we quickly repositioned for this shot. I only had enough time for a couple of shots. In this one it's already ready to walk away. Its probably the only wild heron that's been shot with flashes through an umbrella in awhile!
I hardly see cabs in Pomona at all let alone yellow ones. I only see them in downtown LA. Driving so far out to the Inland Empire isn't as profitable I guess.
