Continuing from the previous post... Christa wanted to do a replica of the Beatles famous Abbey Road photo. We didn't have a nice British road with volkswagens but we did have university drive and a nice sunset. I then ran the photo in photomatix using the details enhancer. Comparing my photo with the original Beatles photo, the simplicity of the original one is so striking. It was shot with sunlight behind the camera and the camera was placed high up. One huge mistake I made in this one was letting the heads of the people in my photo be higher than the end of the road. This totally destroyed the vanishing point the road was supposed to create. Just look at the original photo and see how easy the road is able to lead the eye away. Now more pretty girls in the form of Christa and Celeste.
